Wow. Objectifying women and just a wonderful dash of transphobia, too. Sometimes I’m ashamed to be an atheist.
I don’t think this has anything to do with transphobia or objectifying women. He is just expressing that he thought this particular woman was attractive, but the fact that she started reading a bible on the bus is a bigger turn off than if she turned out to have a penis (which, assuming that he is a straight man interested only in straight women, is not transphobia at all).
Ugh, Tumblr social justice warriors.
Here’s the thing: straight women can have penises. Lots do. Straight men who aren’t bigots can be attracted to women with penises. It IS transphobia.
Ugh, ignorant assholes.Okay fine - he’s only interested in straight women with vaginas. So the fact that he’s not attracted to someone with a penis makes him a bigot? That’s great if some people are attracted to women with penises and that’s fine, but that doesn’t mean everyone does. I’m a straight woman who is only attracted to men with penises. If I saw an attractive guy but found out that he has a vagina, I am going to be turned off. Am I being transphobic? Fuck no. I’m simply being turned off because that’s not my thing.
